The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lynch lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
It looks like Gabriel Hernandez has been cut.
Hernandez throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lynch's waist but Lynch gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hernandez off to one side.
Lynch looks to land a combination. Hernandez sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Lynch lands a big right hand that sends Hernandez crashing to the mat! Lynch stays standing though and waves Hernandez back to his feet!
Hernandez is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lynch fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Hernandez looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Lynch connects with a body shot that sends Hernandez's belly button to the back.
Hernandez looks gassed!
Lynch feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Hernandez crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Kane Lynch!
