The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Elite shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Jones's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Elite's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Elite throwing strikes from guard but Jones blocks nicely.
Elite seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
It looks like Elite might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Jones controls Elite momentarily but Elite frees himself.
Elite wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving.

Elite is nestled in close to Jones, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Jones is rocked!
Elite lands a big elbow - Jones is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Elite!
