Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Matt Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paulo Mendosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Miller might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Johnny Cash - Hurt. Matt Miller has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Paulo Mendosa!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Bruno Hogan and Skip Squint.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Mendosa misses.
Mendosa scores with a jab to the jaw.
A jab lands there for Miller.
Mendosa takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Miller on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Miller is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Mendosa.
Miller steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Mendosa.
Mendosa swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Miller moves out of range as Mendosa strikes.
Miller defending well as Mendosa loads up on a big left hand.
Mendosa throws a hook to the side of Miller's head but Miller sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Mendosa takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Miller keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

and Miller counters with a nice double leg into side control. Mendosa won't be happy with that.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mendosa is looking for a sweep.

Miller wants to control but Mendosa is keeping him busy.
Miller looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Mendosa is avoiding damage well.
Mendosa tries to bench press Miller off him but Miller keeps the position.
Miller postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Mendosa takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Miller throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Check out the look on Miller's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mendosa tries to buck Miller off but Miller is having none of it.
Miller moves into full mount!
Miller lands a nice shot to the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Mendosa is rocked!
Miller cracks Mendosa with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
