PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Horst Scuttlebutt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hoppsan Barley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scuttlebutt cracks Barley with an open hand slap.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Scuttlebutt.
Scuttlebutt thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Barley if he has to take too many more of those.

Scuttlebutt closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Barley's guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Barley has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Scuttlebutt can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Scuttlebutt lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Barley has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Barley and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
