Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marek Hamsa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hamsa looks to land a combination but Johnson avoids it well.

Hamsa tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Johnson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Hamsa is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Johnson defends well.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Johnson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Johnson seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Johnson shoots in for a double leg but Hamsa sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Johnson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Johnson scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Johnson is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Hamsa has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Johnson is looking to defend but Hamsa has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Johnson ! Hamsa pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Johnson taps out and this one is all over!
