Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jigoro Kahn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Silva Balboa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Balboa has chosen Eyes of the Tiger as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jigoro Kahn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Silva Balboa!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Paulo Santos and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kahn tries to clinch there but Balboa circles away.
Balboa shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kahn as he avoids it easily.
Balboa tries for a takedown but Kahn sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Balboa takes a head kick and keeps coming.
It looks like Silva Balboa has been cut.
Balboa takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kahn misses with a wild body shot.
Kahn explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Kahn lands a head kick!
Kahn lands a really nice looking cross but Balboa seems unphased.
Balboa has a takedown stuffed.
Jigoro Kahn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Silva Balboa.
Kahn jabs at Balboa's body.
Balboa looks gassed!
Kahn scores with a nice body kick.
Balboa takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Balboa shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kahn as he jumps to the side.
Balboa is trying desperately to land a takedown but Kahn is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Balboa.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kahn lands an overhand right.
Kahn moves into the clinch.
Kahn struggles to land a body shot inside as Balboa controls his hands.
Kahn working some nice short punches in the clinch.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Kahn.
Kahn breaks from the clinch.
Kahn cracks Balboa with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Kahn has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Balboa to stand back up!
Balboa is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kahn throws an uppercut from hell that sends Balboa clean off his feet! He's out cold! Kahn stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jigoro Kahn!
