The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

That was a close second round but I would say that Cyrus Dee Virus will probably get the nod.

Dee Virus had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. James is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Dee Virus Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take James's back instead.

Even with his hooks in, Dee Virus manages to miss with strikes from the back.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

James manages to reverse the position and now he's in Dee Virus's guard. Nice work there by James.

James drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and James jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

The fight stays on the outside here - Dee Virus looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Dee Virus looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? James is fending him off so far but Dee Virus persists. Nope, James circles away and we're back to standing.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
James shoots in looking for a takedown. Dee Virus tries to sprawl out of it but James keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dee Virus manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
James takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
