PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between King Penguin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clodoaldo Da Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Penguin has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 28 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, King Penguin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Clodoaldo Da Silva!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Seu Braga and Daniel Cesar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Penguin gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Da Silva seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Penguin could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Penguin is breathing heavily.

Penguin is working an open guard so Da Silva takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Da Silva throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Penguin was covering up waiting for the punch and Da Silva finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Da Silva stands up from Penguin's guard - Da Silva perhaps looking for a knockout.

Da Silva lands a left and a right that send Penguin crashing to the mat, dazed. Da Silva thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

King Penguin's cut is getting worse.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Da Silva lands a nice leg kick that just misses Penguin's sensitive parts.
Penguin gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Da Silva gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Penguin is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
