The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Do Picadinho feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Bird could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Do Picadinho is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Do Picadinho has Bird pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Do Picadinho pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Bird tumbling to the mat - Do Picadinho dives into Bird's guard.

Do Picadinho drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Do Picadinho jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Bird knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Do Picadinho on the ground.
