The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anello swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Murakami tries a head kick but it misses.

Murakami pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Anello back to the cage. Murakami follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Anello throws a looping overhand right but Murakami ducks down to avoid it.

Murakami stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Anello.
Murakami looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Murakami takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Anello paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Good leg kick by Anello there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Murakami tries to score a power double leg takedown but Anello sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Murakami somewhat.
Calogero Anello has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kazahiro Murakami.

Murakami throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Kazahiro Murakami seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Murakami tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Murakami is trying desperately to land a takedown but Anello is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Murakami.

Anello's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Murakami connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Anello scrambles back to his feet.

Murakami is breathing heavily.
Anello stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Anello wants it to stay on the feet.

and Anello counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Murakami! He's just covering up as Anello starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
