Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Roberts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zhujev Valinchenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Valinchenko has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! This should be fireworks!

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Gwen Towbar and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roberts connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Valinchenko looks gassed!
Roberts looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Roberts really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Valinchenko being controlled here, momentarily.
Roberts wants to control from the top but Valinchenko keeps moving.
Valinchenko has his foot on Roberts's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Roberts works his way back into a safe position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Jeff Roberts.
Roberts scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Roberts closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Roberts is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Valinchenko knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Valinchenko is looking for a sweep.

Valinchenko wants to hold on but Roberts pushes him away.
Valinchenko is squirming around, avoiding Roberts's attempts to control the action.

Valinchenko looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Roberts closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Valinchenko quickly recovers to half guard.

Roberts gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Valinchenko regains guard.
Valinchenko is looking to sinch up a triangle. Roberts throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Valinchenko's body to avoid the submission. Valinchenko has instead reached around Roberts's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Valinchenko arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
