Monson misses with a double jab
and Rodiguez finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Rodiguez keeps the fight on the outside.

Rodiguez moves into range and clinches up with Monson.

Monson is fighting off a takedown attempt but Rodiguez is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Monson to the mat. Monson regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
