The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wood lands a leg kick that knocks Cook off balance momentarily.
Cook walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

It looks like Damien Cook has been cut.
Cook avoids the head kick by Wood.

Wood moves into the clinch.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Wood.

A right hook to the body lands for Wood.

Wood breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Wood drives through and clinches with Cook against the cage.
With the fighters up against the cage, Wood throws an elbow but misses.
Cook wants to break free but Wood has control.
Cook is trying to break free.
Wood gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

That has opened up Damien Cook's cut even more.
Wood lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Wood lands a good knee to the midsection. Cook won't want to take too many of those.
Cook looks gassed!
Wood utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
Wood comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

The cut above Damien Cook's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Wood lands a right hand that snaps the head of Cook backwards.
Wood softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.

Wood gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Cook is still on wobbly legs! Can Wood finish him?

Damien Cook's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Damien Cook's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
