Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cain Velasquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raish Duns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Velasquez comes into the arena with UFC - Face the Pain blaring out of the sound system. Duns has chosen Batman Entrance as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duns fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Velasquez avoids it really well and circles away.
Duns throws a nice looking combination but Velasquez bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Velasquez keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Velasquez closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Duns to the mat! Duns manages to get full guard.
Velasquez working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Duns's head.
Velasquez keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Duns's head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Velasquez tries to free his leg and advance position but Duns is retaining full guard.

Velasquez stands up over Duns, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Velasquez distracts Duns with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Duns looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Velasquez postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Duns looks gassed!

Velasquez controls from within his opponent's guard.

Duns has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Velasquez can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Duns escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Velasquez gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Velasquez stands and throws Duns's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Velasquez lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Velasquez is looking to take a break and control but Duns is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Velasquez tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Duns is not content to let Velasquez control the position.
Velasquez is chipping away with strikes.
Velasquez lands some shots froms side control.
Velasquez creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Velasquez lands a strong strike to the head of Duns. That's dazed him! Velasquez looking to finish here. Duns is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Velasquez lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
