Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bebe Nose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Spider (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nose slips a jab from Spider.
Spider misses with a double jab
and Nose counters with a body kick.
Spider throws a lazy uppercut

and Nose decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Spider's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nose trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Anderson Spider hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Nose closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Spider's guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Bebe Nose.

Nose seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Spider for as long as he can get away with.

Spider controls Nose momentarily but Nose frees himself.
Spider manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Spider wants to stand but Nose is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.

Spider takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Nose flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.

Spider stands up from mount. Strange move.
A looping hook to the body misses from Spider. Nose does a little dance to reset his feet.

Nose closes the distance and clinches.

Nose gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Spider regains guard.

Spider looking for a guillotine here but Nose defends easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Nose wants to stand but Spider has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
