PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Muzyichenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Max Muzyichenko told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Muzyichenko misses with a two punch combination.
Jones closes the distance and clinches up with Muzyichenko, looking for a takedown. Jones pushes Muzyichenko against the cage but Muzyichenko circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Jones fails with a takedown attempt.
Jones shoots in looking for a takedown but Muzyichenko manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jones's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Daniel Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jones throws a series of punches but Muzyichenko moves out of range.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Muzyichenko is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Jones lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Muzyichenko is rocked!

Jones is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Muzyichenko is surviving well by controlling Jones's body position as best he can.
Muzyichenko is still in real trouble! Can Jones finish him?

Jones wants to finish this one by submission but Muzyichenko is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Jones.
Muzyichenko looks gassed!
Jones drops a big elbow. That's hurt Muzyichenko! More shots from Jones and the ref steps in! The fight is over!

A very excited looking Daniel Jones rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
