Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Back Pack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raul Esteves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Esteves stuffs the takedown.
Pack shoots for a takedown but Esteves saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Pack shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Esteves as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Back Pack. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Pack.
Pack throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Esteves's waist but Esteves gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Pack off to one side.
A chopping leg kick lands by Esteves.

Esteves gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Esteves prevents the takedown attempt.
Esteves pushes Pack back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Pack is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Esteves gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Pack is breathing heavily.

Esteves gets underhooks to prevent Pack's takedown attempt.
Esteves lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Pack backwards.

Esteves is pressed up against the cage. Pack has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Esteves down to the mat. Esteves avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

and Esteves counters with a nice uppercut.

Esteves gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Pack is trying to drag Esteves to the mat but Esteves just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Esteves lands with a light punch inside.
Pack tries for a takedown but Esteves manages to get underhooks.
Esteves lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Pack goes for a takedown in the clinch but Esteves prevents it.
Esteves digs a right hand into Pack's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Pack's gas tank.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Esteves looks to throw an elbow but misses.

Pack has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Esteves is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Esteves lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Esteves takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Esteves gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Pack.

Esteves lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Pack to his knees! Esteves keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
