The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Julmuri tries to bum rush VonFoster with a series of wild strikes but VonFoster uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

VonFoster scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with VonFoster in particular looking to stall.
It looks like VonFoster might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Sean VonFoster wasn't active enough on the ground.

VonFoster is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

VonFoster thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Julmuri might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
VonFoster is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
VonFoster manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Julmuri manages to get himself to full guard.

VonFoster throws a big elbow that misses.

VonFoster drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says VonFoster as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Julmuri screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with VonFoster! Nice submission victory there!
