Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Devin Houle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Williams is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: A Kind of Magic. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Devin Houle!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mike Williams!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Houle.
Houle fails with a takedown attempt.
Williams scores with a hook to the body. Houle takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Houle takes one to the side of the head.
Houle shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Williams as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Devin Houle. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Williams connects with a body shot that sends Houle's belly button to the back.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Houle.
Williams digs a good hook to Houle's body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Williams dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Houle is breathing heavily.
Houle throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Williams's waist but Williams gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Houle off to one side.
Williams fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Houle looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Williams fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Houle looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Williams bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Houle's head backwards.
Houle gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Williams is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Houle rather than just go for the knockout.
Williams cracks Houle with a good jab.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Houle. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Williams feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Houle sprawling to the canvas! Houle rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Williams finish him?!
Houle is rocked!
Williams fakes the body blow, causing Houle to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Houle goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mike Williams! Mike Williams retains his middleweight title!
A very excited looking Mike Williams made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
