Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Stonehouse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shogun Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stonehouse comes to the cage accompanied by Invaders Must Die. On his way into the cage it seems that Paul Stonehouse has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Paul Stonehouse seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 9 - 1, fighting out of London, Paul Stonehouse!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Shogun Rua!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Glass and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stonehouse tries to close the distance and clinch but Rua swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Rua forces Stonehouse back against the cage and clinches.
Stonehouse on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Stonehouse pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Stonehouse tries to land a knee to the head but Rua blocks with his arms.

Stonehouse manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Stonehouse wants to sweep here but Rua controlling him for the moment.
Rua trying to stand up but can't free himself from Stonehouse's guard.
Rua wants to stand and escape but instead Stonehouse has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Stonehouse advances to half guard.
Rua tries to kick Stonehouse off but Stonehouse keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Stonehouse is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stonehouse missing with the ground and pound from half guard.

Stonehouse wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rua keeps working.
Stonehouse passes to full mount!
Rua is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Rua is trying to stand but he's just given Stonehouse his back.
Stonehouse is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Stonehouse gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Stonehouse gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Stonehouse apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Shogun Rua seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stonehouse moves into range and clinches up with Rua.
Stonehouse connects with a knee to the head.
It looks like Shogun Rua has been cut.
Stonehouse drags the fight down to the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rua would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Stonehouse manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Rua is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Stonehouse throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Rua has his hands clasped together but Stonehouse breaks the hold and Rua is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Stonehouse!
