The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Aurelius closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Guevara to the mat! Guevara manages to get full guard.
Aurelius looking to pass the guard.
Aurelius passes Guevara's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Aurelius moves nicely into side control.
Guevara prevents Aurelius from moving into mount.

Aurelius thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Guevara is looking for a sweep.

Aurelius tries for a kimura but Guevara is defending well.

Aurelius tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Aurelius has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Guevara wants to control but Aurelius postures up.

Guevara wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land.

Aurelius is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Guevara is trying to escape and Aurelius transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Guevara is forced to tap! Nice work there by Aurelius! Very nice indeed!
