PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jason Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Riku Reipas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Morgan has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Morgan is breathing heavily.
Reipas is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Reipas has his foot on Morgan's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Morgan works his way back into a safe position though.
Morgan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Reipas is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Morgan has his hands clasped together but Reipas extends an breaks Morgan's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Reipas.
