Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Argo is looking to clinch but Machado is avoiding it.
Argo is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Machado tries to score with a low kick but Argo moves his leg out of the way.
Machado throws the left hand but Argo avoids the punch easily.
Argo throws a low kick but it's checked well by Machado.
Machado circles away from the clinch attempt

and Machado decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Argo's guard.
Machado postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Machado is looking to work some ground and pound but Argo has wrist control.

Argo has momentary wrist control but Machado slips an elbow through the middle.
Machado has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Argo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Machado. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Machado is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Argo sees it coming and defends easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Machado is trying to work for a kimura but Argo is defending well.
Machado uses his free foot to push down on Argo's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Argo.

Argo takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Machado's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
