Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nao Sakumichi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Izaac Kari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Izaac Kari!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Ren Mimura and Hirohito Nitta.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kari stuffs the takedown attempt from Sakumichi. Sakumichi gets slowly back to his feet.

A kick lands to the mid section there for Kari.
Sakumichi dives in and grabs Kari's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kari pushes down on Sakumichi's head and hops out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nao Sakumichi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sakumichi will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Sakumichi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kari tries to avoid it but Sakumichi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kari to the ground. Kari escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Kari scores with a three punch combo!

Sakumichi is rocked!

It looks like Nao Sakumichi has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A big right from Kari misses.
Oh Sakumichi is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kari throws a hook to the side of Sakumichi's head but Sakumichi sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Sakumichi seems to have got his legs back now.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sakumichi is defended easily by Kari.
Sakumichi looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kari is fending him off so far but Sakumichi persists. Nope, Kari circles away and we're back to standing.

Kari moves into range and clinches up with Sakumichi.
Sakumichi drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Kari gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Kari stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Kari lands with a short head shot on the inside.
