Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Josh Hastings (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eskil Lemmelin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lemmelin is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Fönt ja en körv. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Eskil Lemmelin!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Colin Fotheringham and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hastings has Lemmelin up against the cage in a clinch.
Hastings wants to break the clinch but can't.
Lemmelin has Hastings pressed against the cage, preventing Hastings from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Hastings tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Lemmelin content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Hastings is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Lemmelin is defending well for now.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Lemmelin uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hastings has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lemmelin works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Hastings shoots in looking for a takedown but Lemmelin manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hastings's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Hastings takes a shot to the body in his stride.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Eskil Lemmelin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!


Lemmelin fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Lemmelin has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lemmelin shoots in for a takedown and gets it, with a heavy slam. That will score well with the judges.
Oh Hastings is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

A big shot lands for Lemmelin! That's hurt Hastings! Will he recover? Lemmelin fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!

Eskil Lemmelin seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
