PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Who Da (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hank Peterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Summer Carpenter and Winston Howard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Da, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Peterson misses with a jab, cross combination.
Da throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Peterson sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Peterson scores with a head kick.

It looks like Who Da has been cut.
Peterson thumps Da with a low kick.
Da moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Peterson tries to bum rush Da with a series of wild strikes but Da uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A slapping leg kick lands for Peterson.
Da throws a right and a left that both miss.
Da takes a kick to the side of the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Da misses with a combination
and Peterson counters with a big head kick but Da shrugs it off.
Da connects with a body shot that sends Peterson's belly button to the back.

Peterson moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
A slow jab from Da misses its intended target.
That kick from Peterson tenderised Da's leg. Da is trying to keep his angry face on.
Da throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Da chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Peterson can pounce on him.
Some wild striking there from Da.
A nice leg kick lands there from Peterson.
Peterson keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Peterson takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

and Peterson counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Peterson showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Da.
Da misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Peterson takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Peterson lands with a nice combination. Da backs away looking to recover.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Peterson throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Da.
Da swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Peterson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Da throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Peterson.
A lazy left from Da finds it's target.
Peterson lands a head kick. Da smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Da is rocked!

Peterson throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Oh Da is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Da is breathing heavily.
A shot to the body from Da misses
and Peterson finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ohhhhhhhhhh, brutal head kick from Peterson! This one is all over!
