Hernando comes to the cage accompanied by Parasite . Lips is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Thunderlips Theme. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Thunder Lips!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Damien Edna and Bruno Hogan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lips has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Hernando finds it's way round the side to connect with Lips's head.

Hernando closes the distance and clinches.
Hernando is trying to push Lips away but Lips has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Hernando breaks from the clinch.
Hernando avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Hernando chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Lips shoots for a double leg takedown but Hernando sprawls well. He's pushed Lips's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Lips looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Nice uppercut there from Hernando.
Lips misses with a hook
and Hernando counters with a left to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lips closes the distance and clinches up with Hernando, looking for a takedown. Lips pushes Hernando against the cage but Hernando circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Roberto Hernando has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thunder Lips.
Nice takedown defense from Hernando. No joy for Lips on that attempt.

Hernando fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Lips, pushing him back against the cage.
Lips has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Hernando after a bit of a struggle.
Hernando lands a right hand.

Hernando manages to break the clinch.
Hernando lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Roberto Hernando is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Hernando throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Lips.

It looks like Thunder Lips has been cut.
Lips tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Hernando counters with a nice uppercut.
Lips looks gassed!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hernando throws out a powerful jab.
Hernando scores with a three punch combo!
Lips takes a kick to the side of the head.

Hernando has closed the distance and engaged Lips in a clinch.
Hernando is working Lips over against the cage.

Hernando breaks from the clinch.

Oooooh!!! Hernando has knocked Lips down with a huge combo! Hernando steps away and waves a wobbly Lips back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Lips is rocked!
Hernando lands with a right and another and another! Lips is in big trouble! Hernando lands again and this time it's lights out for Lips! A quality knockout there for Hernando.
