Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Herbert Truck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fidel Puno Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Truck kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Indestructible. Fidel Puno Jr struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 267.3lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Puno Jr feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Truck's calf.
Puno Jr defending well as Truck loads up on a big left hand.
Fidel Puno Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Puno Jr missing with a left hand there. Truck was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Truck shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Puno Jr eats them both and turns towards Truck to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

It looks like Fidel Puno Jr has been cut.
Puno Jr tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Truck manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Truck fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Puno Jr with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Truck lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Truck throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Puno Jr sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Truck fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Puno Jr manages to avoid it.
Puno Jr misses with a kick to the body.
Truck moves into range and connects with a jab.

Truck shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Truck is trying to work for a kimura but Puno Jr is defending well.
Puno Jr looks like he's trying to stand up.

Truck is trying to control. Puno Jr wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Truck is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Puno Jr defends it well.

Truck is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Puno Jr is just riding it out for now. Truck eventually gives up the hold.

Truck is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Puno Jr doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Truck.

Truck is working for an americana but Puno Jr has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Truck was thinking about the submission.

Truck drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Puno Jr dives on top into guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Truck has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Puno Jr can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Truck is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Truck looking for a sweep. Not yet Truck, not yet.
Puno Jr wants to get up but he can't break Truck's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Truck manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Puno Jr manages to get himself to full guard.
Truck pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Puno Jr is keeping the position for now.
Truck is stalling in the full guard.

Truck drops back looking for a leg! Puno Jr is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Puno Jr manages to kick Truck off! Truck jumps back into Puno Jr's guard.
Truck wants to pass the guard but Puno Jr is keeping the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Truck drops back, looking for a kneebar! Puno Jr looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Puno Jr looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Puno Jr!

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Truck connects with an inside leg kick.
Truck throws a series of punches but Puno Jr avoids them all with ease.
Puno Jr keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Truck.
Truck lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Puno Jr takes a body punch but keeps moving.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Truck takes a swing at Puno Jr's ribcage but misses.
Truck throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Truck scores with a leg kick.
Truck throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Truck shoots in for a takedown but Puno Jr shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Truck fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Puno Jr seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Truck shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Puno Jr is backing up but Truck catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Puno Jr covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Truck Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
