Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Niall William Quinn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Filmer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 14 - 0, fighting out of London, Andrew Filmer!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Sam Margolis and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Quinn looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

It looks like Andrew Filmer has been cut.

Quinn shoots in for a takedown but Filmer shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

You can see the frustration on Quinn's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

I really don't envy Quinn right now.

Filmer is trying to stick to Quinn's back but Quinn is turning into Filmer. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Filmer's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Quinn.

Quinn jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Filmer walks away with a smile on his face. Quinn gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Filmer clinches up with Quinn and pushes him back against the cage.
Quinn jumps guard but Filmer stands there with Quinn around his waist. Quinn gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Filmer breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Filmer lunges at Quinn with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Quinn's hand.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Quinn moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Quinn looks to throw the jab but Filmer is out of range.
Filmer takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Quinn shoots for a takedown but Filmer saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Filmer shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Quinn sprawls well. Quinn wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Filmer gets slowly back to his feet.
Quinn takes a swing at Filmer's ribcage but misses.
Filmer shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Quinn but Quinn pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Filmer looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Filmer throws a sloppy head kick and Quinn moves out of range easily.
Filmer throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Quinn stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Filmer walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Quinn tries to keep at a distance but Filmer has taken the fight into the clinch.

Quinn walks forward, straight into a front kick from Filmer.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Quinn takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Filmer looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Quinn is fending him off so far but Filmer persists. Nope, Quinn circles away and we're back to standing.

Filmer cracks Quinn with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Filmer tries to close the distance and clinch but Quinn swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Well Filmer has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
