Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Joseph Stevenson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stevenson comes to the cage accompanied by Higher Ground - Red Hot Chili Peppers. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Stevenson is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Stevenson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Stevenson takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Stevenson shoots in for a takedown but James shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if James can do anything to dispel that myth.
