The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ones avoids the body shot from Mcneil.
Ones connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Ones uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Mcneil.
Mcneil just misses with a punch to the body.
Mcneil wants to clinch up but Ones keeps it at a distance.

Mcneil shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Mcneil was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Ones trying to get back to full guard but Mcneil takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!
Ones might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Ones tries to reverse the position but Mcneil maintains control.
Mcneil tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment.

Mcneil gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Ones throws a hook to the side of Mcneil's head but Mcneil sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Ones passes Mcneil's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
