Blitzkof kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is In The End. Jyrki Katainen has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Katainen misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Blitzkof.
Katainen closes the distance and lands a one-two.

It looks like Victor Blitzkof has been cut.
Blitzkof throws a leg kick but Katainen checks it.
Blitzkof fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Katainen manages to avoid it.
The fighters circling - Katainen throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Katainen throws a hook to the side of Blitzkof's head but Blitzkof sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Katainen misses with the combination.
Blitzkof misses with a head kick.
Blitzkof moves out of range as Katainen strikes.
Katainen tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Blitzkof was well out of range. Poor timing from Katainen.
Blitzkof attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Katainen throws a lazy right hand but Blitzkof sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Jyrki Katainen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Katainen connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Katainen lands a big right hand that sends Blitzkof crashing to the mat! Katainen stays standing though and waves Blitzkof back to his feet!

Blitzkof is rocked!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Blitzkof drops his hands momentarily. Katainen doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Blitzkof staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Blitzkof doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
