Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Race Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, William Peck and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Hall stuffs the takedown.
Hall misses with a kick to the body.
Hall darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Davis is trying to control but Hall passes into side control!
Hall is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Davis is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Hall looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Hall tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hall has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Davis is not content to let Hall control the position.
Davis tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Hall thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Davis really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hall. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Davis is trying to control but can't.
Hall tries to pass to full mount but Davis defends it.
Davis is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Davis wants to control but Hall is having none of it.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Hall cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Davis tries to lock up and control but Hall gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Hall can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Davis is looking to escape.

That's time! Hall's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Davis takes a swing at Hall's ribcage but misses.
Davis fails with the takedown.
Davis shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Davis is tying to control. Hall wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Davis uses his free foot to push down on Hall's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Hall.
Davis manages to capitalize on a mistake by Hall to take his back!
Hall takes a big shot to the side of the head.
Hall looking very determined here, making life difficult for Davis.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Hall tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Davis has hold of one of Hall's legs. Hall is fighting the takedown attempt but Davis gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Davis wants to free his trapped foot but Hall is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Davis stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hall swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Hall is looking for a triangle but Davis pushes his legs off easily.
Davis drops back, looking for a kneebar! Hall looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Hall looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Hall!
Davis gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!

Ryan Hall overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Davis is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

A close second round but Race Davis will probably get the nod - 10:9.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
