The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adebisi wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Simon Adebisi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Adebisi jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Adebisi throws out a loose jab but Kiuga uses good head movement to avoid it.
A shot to the liver by Kiuga. Beautiful body shot.

No joy there for Kiuga, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kiuga buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Adebisi is breathing heavily.
Kiuga avoids the head kick by Adebisi.
Kiuga dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Kiuga misses with a head kick.

Kiuga drops Adebisi with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Adebisi looks back up at him and smiles so Kiuga waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Adebisi is rocked!

Kiuga goes for a small jab and connects. Now Kiuga goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Adebisi stumbles back but Kiuga runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Adebisi to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Adebisi will ever be the same after a knockout like that.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Toa Kiuga!
A less than humble Toa Kiuga misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
