Ulric Hallestrom is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kitty throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Hallestrom on the side of the head.

That was a close round but I would say that Mean "Sparta" Kitty will probably get the nod.

Hallestrom lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kitty circles away quickly and effectively.
Hallestrom throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kitty lands a nice hook to Hallestrom's body. Hallestrom takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Kitty throws a body punch but Hallestrom moves out of range.

Hallestrom feints and then cracks Kitty's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kitty down.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
