Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ryan Clarkson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Martin Cash!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Summer Carpenter and John Mangel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cash shoots in for a takedown but Clarkson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Cash lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Clarkson shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Clarkson content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Cash wants to improve his position but Clarkson is controlling well.
Clarkson is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Clarkson looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

You get the feeling that Cash really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Cash shoots in looking for a takedown but Clarkson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Cash's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Cash is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Clarkson seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Cash for as long as he can get away with.

Clarkson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Cash was covering up waiting for the punch and Clarkson finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Ryan Clarkson showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Clarkson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
