The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hanma lands a body shot.
Novikov takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Hanma lunges at Novikov with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Novikov's hand.
Novikov walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Hanma checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Hanma cracks a nice hook into Novikov's ribs.
Hanma connects with an inside leg kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Novikov takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Novikov looks gassed!
Hanma fakes the leg kick and cracks Novikov in the body.
Hanma misses with a wild combination.
Hanma lands with a nice combination. Novikov backs away looking to recover.
Hanma throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Novikov.
Good leg kick by Hanma there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Novikov shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Hanma pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Novikov back to the cage. Hanma follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

That kick from Hanma tenderised Novikov's leg. Novikov is trying to keep his angry face on.
Novikov needs to keep his hands up - Hanma had a free shot at his head there.

Hanma tries to bum rush Novikov with a series of wild strikes but Novikov uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Hanma slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Novikov doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Hanma throws a right and a left that Novikov avoids nicely.
Novikov on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Hanma moves into range and connects with a jab.
Novikov is still on wobbly legs! Can Hanma finish him?
Novikov leaves his chin hanging out and Hanma seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Novikov crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
