The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pigg fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Pigg.
Pigg fails with the takedown.
Pigg misses with a takedown attempt - Valchek sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Algot Pigg. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pigg avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Valchek is looking to clinch.
Valchek closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Valchek lands in his opponent's guard.

Valchek tries to move to mount but Pigg blocks the move with his legs.
Valchek is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Pigg is trying to escape and Valchek transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Pigg is forced to tap! Nice work there by Valchek! Very nice indeed!
