The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kamei misses with a looping right.
Jones fails with a takedown attempt.
Some wild striking there from Kamei.
Kamei thows a left - swing and a miss!
Jones shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kamei as he jumps to the side.
Jones shoots in looking for a takedown but Kamei manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jones's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Koichi Kamei has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Matt Jones.

It looks like Matt Jones has been cut.
Kamei misses with a wild combination.

Kamei throws a series of punches but Jones moves out of range.
Kamei lands with a good body shot.
Jones dives in and grabs Kamei's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kamei pushes down on Jones's head and hops out.
Jones on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Kamei attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Kamei throws a series of punches but Jones avoids them all with ease.
Kamei connects with a nice looking jab.
Jones shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
No luck for Jones with that takedown attempt.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jones walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Kamei thuds a left hand into Jones's body.
Kamei connects with a combination that backs up Jones into the cage. Kamei lands a flurry of punches that gets past Jones's guard. Jones is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Kamei bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
