Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Kiare (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Goro Shinnok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kiare comes to the cage accompanied by Follow you Home - Nickelback. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Kiare does it's job there.
Kiare throws a big shot that misses.

and Shinnok counters with a three punch combo that has Kiare backing up. Kiare nods at Shinnok to acknowledge the strikes.
Kiare shoots in but no luck this time.
Shinnok misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

and Shinnok counters with a crisp one two that drops Kiare! Shinnok thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Kiare to his feet! Kiare is in big trouble!
The fighters circle momentarily. Kiare darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Shinnok lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kiare circles away quickly and effectively.
Kevin Kiare seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kiare tests Shinnok's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Kiare tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Shinnok was well out of range. Poor timing from Kiare.
Kiare is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Kiare changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Shinnok tries to avoid it but Kiare manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Shinnok to the ground. Shinnok escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Kiare shoots for a takedown but Shinnok saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Shinnok stuffs the takedown attempt from Kiare. Kiare gets slowly back to his feet.
Shinnok throws a series of punches but Kiare moves out of range.

Kiare clinches up with Shinnok and pushes him back against the cage.
Kiare has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Shinnok after a bit of a struggle.
Kiare is looking to take this one to the mat.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Kiare throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Shinnok tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Kiare is in Shinnok's guard.

Shinnok wants to sweep here but Kiare controlling him for the moment.
