Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Tolbowl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Sander (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tolbowl comes to the cage accompanied by Do Da Stanky Leg. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Matt Tolbowl!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tommy Sander!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Skip Squint and Summer Carpenter.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sander has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Tolbowl.
A cross from Sander lands.
Sander misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Matt Tolbowl seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tolbowl throws a low kick but it's checked well by Sander.
Good leg kick by Tolbowl there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Tolbowl tries to land a leg kick but Sander saw it coming and moves away.
Sander throws a head kick but Tolbowl moves out of range.

Tolbowl takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Sander misses with a wild body shot.

Tolbowl shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Tolbowl was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

It looks like Tommy Sander has been cut.

Tolbowl unloads with some shots from mount but Sander bucks and avoids them well.
Tolbowl throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Sander because Tolbowl loaded up on that one.
Sander sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sander is looking for a sweep. Tolbowl is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Tolbowl wants to pass the guard but Sander is defending well.
Tolbowl thows a huge punch but Sander dodges it nicely.
Tolbowl thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Sander's head.
Tolbowl throws a strike but Sander avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Tolbowl accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Sander is controlling Tolbowl's posture.

Sander has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Tolbowl off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Tolbowl takes one on the button.
Tolbowl changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sander tries to avoid it but Tolbowl manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sander to the ground. Sander escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Tolbowl shoots for a takedown but Sander saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Horrible takedown by Tolbowl or perhaps it was just good defense by Sander which made him look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Matt Tolbowl. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The fight stays on the outside here - Tolbowl looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sander gets back to half guard.
Tolbowl not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Tolbowl not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Sander wants to get back to full guard.
Tolbowl is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Tolbowl wants to pass to mount but Sander is defending the position.
Sander wants to improve his position but Tolbowl is controlling well.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Tolbowl connects with a nice short shot to Sander's temple.

Sander is trying to stand up here but Tolbowl is controlling him well.
Tolbowl has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

That has opened up Tommy Sander's cut even more.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Tolbowl is trying to control the action in half guard but Sander is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Tolbowl looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Sander with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Tommy Sander's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Tommy Sander's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
