Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sun Tokiko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Spoon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tokiko tries to score a power double leg takedown but Spoon sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tokiko somewhat.
Spoon's jab looks to have found its range, popping Tokiko under the eye.

Tokiko shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Tokiko showed some decent athleticism there.

Tokiko is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Tokiko tries to pass the half guard into mount. Spoon knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Spoon is trying to stand up here but Tokiko is controlling him well.

Spoon got a little sloppy there for a moment and Tokiko has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Spoon has managed to get both his arms back between Tokiko's legs - danger averted.
