And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Ivan Kurochkin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Power, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Power misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Hanneman fails with the takedown.
Hanneman slips a jab from Power.
Hanneman ducks under a wild hook from Power.
Hanneman shoots for a takedown but Power saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Hanneman closes this distance looking for a takedown but Power circles away.

Hanneman is trying hard to land a takedown here. Power sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Power rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hanneman moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Hanneman slips a jab and a cross from Power.
Power swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Thomas Power is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Power throws the left hand but Hanneman avoids the punch easily.
Power scores with a jab to the head.
Power misses with a hook to the body

and Hanneman counters with a takedown into side control.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Hanneman working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Hanneman thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Hanneman is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Power is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Hanneman is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Power has escaped the position, nice work there.

Hanneman is trying to get an arm triangle but Power is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hanneman swings around for an armbar but Power sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Hanneman's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Power tries to stand but Hanneman is controlling from the bottom.

Hanneman uses the cage to get back to his feet.
A jab from Power misses.
Power lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Power throws a sloppy body shot

and Hanneman counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Hanneman.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Hanneman has gone for a leg lock! Power slips out almost immediately though and dives into Hanneman's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Jeff Hanneman will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Hanneman is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Power sees it coming and defends easily.
Power is trying to stand.

Hanneman maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Power could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Hanneman has cracked it and Power is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Hanneman!
