Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Odayr Shurlt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hulk Hogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shurlt comes to the cage accompanied by Guns N' Roses - Welcome to the Jungle . The crowd seem to be enjoying Hogan's choice of entrance music: Real American. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Odayr Shurlt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Hulk Hogan!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Paulo Santos and Felipe Paraventi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Shurlt with that takedown attempt.
Hogan slaps away a takedown attempt from Shurlt, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Hogan shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Shurlt eats them both and turns towards Hogan to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

It looks like Odayr Shurlt has been cut.
Hogan lands a jab to Shurlt's midsection.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Shurlt is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Shurlt takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Hogan thuds a left hand into Shurlt's body.
Shurlt shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hogan sprawls well. Hogan wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Shurlt gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Odayr Shurlt. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Hogan closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Shurlt's guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Hogan slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Shurlt wants to improve his position but instead Hogan has moved into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Well, if Hogan is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Hulk Hogan.

Hogan rushes Shurlt and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Shurlt fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Shurlt blocks an uppercut.
Hogan managing to block the knees to the body from Shurlt.
Hogan misses with a hook to the ribs.

Hogan tries to throw a body punch but Shurlt avoids it by throwing Hogan back against the cage.
Shurlt is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Hogan is defending well.
Shurlt is trying to pull guard but Hogan has him pressed against the cage.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Hogan tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Shurlt was well out of range. Poor timing from Hogan.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Hogan. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Shurlt walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Nice straight punches there by Hogan. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Hogan.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Shurlt shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Shurlt showed some decent athleticism there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Odayr Shurlt will probably get the nod.

Hogan tries to bum rush Shurlt with a series of wild strikes but Shurlt uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hogan lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Shurlt backwards.

Hogan breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hulk Hogan seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Shurlt wants to take the fight to the mat but Hogan manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Shurlt is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Hogan can't fight it off and eventually Shurlt manages to take the fight to the floor. Hogan looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Shurlt bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hogan's guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Shurlt accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Odayr Shurlt overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Shurlt has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Hulk Hogan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Hogan has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

After the fight, Hulk Hogan was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
