Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between George Costanza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Waranhk Nsembo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Costanza comes to the ring accompanied by Jacco- När mörkret faller . Nsembo has chosen ChessBoxin' as his entrance music. Waranhk Nsembo is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, George Costanza!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 18 - 0, fighting out of London, Waranhk Nsembo!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Andrew Berry and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nsembo throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Costanza takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Nsembo stuffs the takedown attempt from Costanza. Costanza gets slowly back to his feet.
Nsembo fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Costanza is out of range.
Costanza avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Nsembo scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Costanza will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Nsembo shoots in and gets a takedown into Costanza's guard.

Costanza escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Nsembo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Costanza is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Costanza is breathing heavily.
Nsembo wants to stand but Costanza has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Nsembo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Costanza. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Nsembo gets to his feet. Costanza looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Nsembo shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nsembo walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Costanza checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Costanza fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for George Costanza. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Costanza doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Nsembo counters with a leg kick.
Nsembo falls off balance throwing a combination

so Costanza counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Nsembo is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Costanza postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Nsembo is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Costanza, into his guard.
Nsembo is looking to stand up but Costanza won't let him.

Costanza is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nsembo has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Costanza is proving hard to escape from.

Costanza is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Nsembo has his hands clasped together but Costanza extends an breaks Nsembo's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Costanza.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). George Costanza!
