Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lucio Rodrigues (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gary Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rodrigues's entrance music is Sandstorm. A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying Lee's choice of entrance music: Big Man With A Big Gun-Nine Inch Nails. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Rodrigues with that takedown attempt.
Rodrigues fails with the takedown
and Lee counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Lucio Rodrigues has been cut.
A jab from Lee misses.
Rodrigues shoots in looking for a takedown but Lee manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Rodrigues's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Rodrigues has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Lee after a bit of a struggle.
Rodrigues is trying to drag Lee to the mat but Lee just about manages to keep his footing. He used the ropes to his advantage there.

Lee misses with a punch to the body.
Lee tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Rodrigues breaks the clinch.

Rodrigues tries to score a body lock takedown but Lee shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Lee throws a strike but Rodrigues rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Lee is looking for a triangle but Rodrigues pushes his legs off easily.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Lee gets in close and instigates a clinch.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Rodrigues tries to score a body lock takedown but Lee shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Lee takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Rodrigues changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Lee fights it off and pushes away nicely.
The fighters circle momentarily. Rodrigues darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Lee moves into the clinch.
Rodrigues swings wildly with an uppercut but Lee uses good head movement to avoid it.
Rodrigues has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Lee clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Rodrigues working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Lee is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Rodrigues has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Lee taps out!
