Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jay Rich!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Paz Silva!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Gwen Towbar and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva lands with a nice combination. Rich backs away looking to recover.
Silva tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rich was well out of range. Poor timing from Silva.
Silva changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Silva lunges at Rich with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Rich's hand.
Paz Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva throws a nice looking combination but Rich bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Rich takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Rich changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Silva looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Silva can do anything to dispel that myth.

It looks like Paz Silva has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Silva really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rich. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

That was a close round but I would say that Jay Rich will probably get the nod.

Silva throws a series of punches but Rich avoids them all with ease.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
