Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between River Greywar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diago Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Greywar comes to the cage accompanied by Written in the stars. Sanchez has chosen Coming Home as his entrance music. Diago Sanchez will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, River Greywar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Diago Sanchez!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Cecil Peabody and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sanchez gets the takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That kick from Greywar tenderised Sanchez's leg. Sanchez is trying to keep his angry face on.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sanchez is defended easily by Greywar.
River Greywar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Diago Sanchez.
Sloppy strikes from Greywar. Those never looked like landing.
Sanchez clobbers Greywar with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

and Greywar counters with a nice low kick that buckles Sanchez's knee momentarily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Sanchez swings for the body but Greywar moves out of range.
Greywar's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Sanchez connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Greywar scrambles back to his feet.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Sanchez enables Greywar to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Sanchez manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Well Sanchez has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
