Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Karl Svensson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boy Kalawit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Karl Svensson looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Karl Svensson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Boy Kalawit!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Svensson moves in looking to clinch but Kalawit pushes him off.
Svensson looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Svensson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kalawit paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Kalawit clinches up with Svensson and pushes him back against the cage.
Kalawit drops down looking for an ankle pick but Svensson pulls his leg out and moves away.
Svensson throws a nice looking combination but Kalawit bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Kalawit has taken the fight to the clinch.
Kalawit pulls Svensson into guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Svensson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kalawit has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Svensson has managed to get both his arms back between Kalawit's legs - danger averted.
Kalawit working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Svensson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Svensson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Kalawit wriggles free and stands up.
Kalawit changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Svensson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Kalawit advances nicely into full mount.
Kalawit is working for a guillotine from mount but Svensson frees his head quite easily.
Kalawit is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Svensson to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Svensson shrugs it off.
Kalawit is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Svensson has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Kalawit looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Kalawit working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Svensson turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Kalawit off and cradles Svensson's limp body as Kalawit celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Boy Kalawit!
