Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jose Dimasalang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lawson Sharp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Lawson Sharp enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Lawson Sharp!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shirou Masuda and Hirohito Nitta.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dimasalang shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Sharp as he avoids it easily.
Sharp takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Sharp takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Dimasalang closes the distance but Sharp moves to the side

and Sharp counters with a takedown into side control.

Sharp stands up.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dimasalang misses with a double jab

and Sharp counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Dimasalang is looking for a sweep. Sharp is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Sharp is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Dimasalang is trying to control but can't.

Sharp decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

Dimasalang tries to sprawl but Sharp drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Dimasalang is breathing heavily.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Sharp escapes and gets back to his feet.
Dimasalang fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Sharp gets the takedown into side control.

Sharp has hold of Dimasalang's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Dimasalang seems comfortable defending it but Sharp has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Dimasalang is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Dimasalang is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Sharp couldn't care less - he's delighted!
